So proud of the respect and understanding these kids have for the service men and woman of the United States military.
We read “America’s White Table” and set a little white table in our classroom.
Today we listened to the Native American Legend of the Three Sisters. The kids made clay pots and sorted them into 3 different groups: corn-yellow, beans-Black, and squash-red. 🎉👏🏽🥰

As the second grade teacher, I am proud to announce Alaina Nenow as the President of Second Grade!!! We had a ton of fun and interesting conversations while doing our classroom election!! I also had two students that had AWESOME slogans. “Be kind, don’t be blind” and “Pick Myles, he will go Myles for Second Grade!” -Mrs. Seigman

Yesterday we learned about voting. After reading “Duck for President,” students were able to vote for Farmer Brown or Duck to become our new president. Today we will tally the polls and celebrate the winner.
