It's been a fun week in 5th grade! In science we identified mystery matter by its properties, conducted experiments to witness both physical and chemical changes, and saw the law of conservation of mass in action! 🧪⚖️ We also enjoyed the beautiful weather today as we went on an Easter egg hunt for a math review! 🐣🌸

The 6th graders didn't fall for Mrs. Nitschke's April Fool's Day shenanigans. However, the 2nd graders did! They were out calling for the LOOF LIRPA (April Fools spelt backwards) with carrots in their hands! They had high hopes of catching a glimpse of that rare bird! LOOF, LOOF, WEEEE. LOOF, LOOF, AWWWW! Thank you to Mrs. Nitschke's class for passing on the idea! We had great laughs today. Don't ask the second grade class about April Fools tricks, they might be upset! :)
