The 100th day of school falls on January 28th. The elementary teachers will be planning some fun afternoon activities. One activity that we will continue this year, is the fashion show. Your child will need to decorate some form of clothing with 100 items of any kind. The clothing item does not need to be new.
You can attach the 100 items using glue or by sewing them on. Here are some simple ideas: feathers, pom-poms, stickers, jewels, paper clips, squares of material, cotton balls, buttons, fruit loops, cheerios, flowers, straws, tape, googly eyes, or draw 100 items.
Pinterest has some great ideas. We have also added some pictures to the back of this letter for ideas.
Students are NOT wear the item until the fashion show. We also ask that you attach a short description of the item they are wearing. For example, “Donna is wearing a long sleeved blue cotton shirt designed with paper clips in the shape of a 100.” We encourage parents to come join us for the fashion show. It will start at 2:30.
