Archers and Parents, we will be having our end of the year party Sunday May 5th at 2:00 at the school. We will have pizza, hand out awards and state t-shirts, talk about the fund raiser this summer, and if time allows shoot our bows. Hope to see you all next Sunday.

It's SUNFLOWER SEED SEASON!! They are great for at the lake, in the tractor, baseball games, driving in the car, working around the yard and any other time you need something to chew on. Get your Wild Dutchman seeds from any GSPS 7th or 8th grader TODAY. April 26th-May 8th.

The AMVETS Post from Steele was out to awards our students for their annual essay contest.

Make sure to join us next week for our two Spring concerts! Tuesday (April 30th) at 6:30 p.m. is 1st-6th grades Spring instrumental concert and the Musical Play "Once Upon A Dream" the Cinderella story. Note pre-school and Kindergarten are not in this concert.
Then Thursday (May 2nd) at 7 p.m. is the Jr High and HS choir and band concert. We will be selling pop floats for $2 after the HS concert.

The 6th graders had a very special visitor today! John Hoffman (Mrs. Graber's grandpa) came down to talk to them about Vietnam war, WWII, and his time on the honor flight. During their unit on WWII, Mrs. Graber talked to them about how a deck of cards saved her Great Grandpa's life, and today they were able to hold that deck of cards!

Just an FYI, there was a concert letter mailed out last week in case you haven't received it or checked your mail. It has the info for what the kids need to wear for the play and for the instrumental portion. I forgot to list flip flops or sandals for the girls to wear so it is easier to try on Cinderella's shoe. If you have any questions please reach out to Mrs Muller at the school.

Run and Read for grades Pre-k-6 will be the next three Fridays. Family is welcome to join!

Today we invited first grade to join us for some diamond painting!
