
Happy National STEM Day! To celebrate, the 4th & 5th graders completed a STEM challenge: make the highest free-standing tower with only 4 supplies!




Grades 9-12 took a trip to Jamestown for the local Career Fair this morning! The students really enjoyed all the booths it had to offer.








FFA students are selling fruit, pizza and jerky! Orders are due on Monday, November 13th. If you would like to place an order please contact one of our FFA members or the school!
Fruit prices all vary but are listed on the sheet.
Jerky is $28 a tub. There are 80 round pieces per tub.
Johnny B's pizza is $15 per pizza.

Chess Club began for students in grades 6-12 on Monday. We will get together again on Thursday.

We have seven students who will be attending the UJ honor band festival. Everyone is welcome to attend the evening concert showcasing their accomplishments from the day of music making.


Here's what is happening at GSPS this week!


FFA students are finishing up their nationals trip today, with one last tour at Fair Oaks Farms, IN. The last couple of days our members have been able to attend convention workshops, enjoy a fun night at Malibu Jack's, attend a PRCA rodeo, have a chapter supper, and lots of shopping at the FFA shopping mall.











Shout out to these kids for working hard and doing a great job with our One-Act play! We've got some great talent here at GSPS!!


We celebrated Native American Heritage Month by reading Dawn Flight a Lakota Story-Kevin Locke, played Go-Fish number edition, and participated in learning stations. 😊 🦅 🪶

Second grade had a great day enjoying Halloween festivities. Thank you so much to Ms. Trouba and the national guard for their performances in the afternoon!











Students in the "One Act" play performed for us. They are small but mighty!!! Great job and best of luck to the team as they compete on Thursday in Wishek at the regional competition. Good work Ms. Trouba!







North Dakota National Guard band played for our school. Thank you for serving our country and for sharing your talent with us. It was great having you join our kids in the classroom after your performance. Shout out to Mrs. Muller for lining this up for us.







Halloween in Kindergarten was a blast! A little art, a little popcorn, and a whole lot of fun!








First grade Halloween fun! Candy corn experiment, games, and a little trick or treating.







What a fun, busy day- Bone Bridge STEM Challenge, Minute-to-Win-It activities, Spooky Stories, Trick-or-Treating (Thank-you to Gackle Care Center, Dakota Heritage Bank, & Wright Insurance), One-Act Play performance (Great Job cast!), and National Guard Music performance with impressive musical talents!
