What's taking place next Tuesday, October 27th? The High School Fall concert at 7 p.m. Come and listen to some musical entertainment by the JH and HS choirs and band.
Reminder to get your orders in for your Gackle-Streeter Pride shirts and sweatshirts. We also have some pullovers and duffel bags available to order with either the NGS or GS school embroidered logos. Orders are due October 26th.
The dates for the Christmas concerts have been set for December. We are planning the High School concert on December 8th at 7 p.m. and the Elementary concert for December 15th at 6:30 p.m.

It's that time of year again! The Junior Class is selling holiday wreaths. If you would like to purchase one, please find a junior. All fundraising goes towards prom 2021. They will be roughly delivered around November 16-20. Checks can be made to Gackle Streeter School!
When the entire class gets a 100% on their Spelling Test— the teacher has to follow through on her end of the deal!!! Way to go 5th grade spellers— Sonday Phonics is working!!!!!
The USDA waiver for free student meals has been extended through the end of the school year! All district students will continue to get free breakfasts and lunches until May 2021. Snack milks are not covered by the waiver.
We still encourage all of our families to fill out a free and reduced lunch form for the 2020-2021 school year. Although all students will eat for free this year, the number of F&R applicants we have in our district is the baseline for several avenues of revenue for our school. Applications are available on the school's website under documents and we will have forms available at Parent Teacher Conferences next Wednesday. Thank you!
Gackle-Streeter Public School is in need of substitute teachers!
The requirements to obtain a substitute license in North Dakota are:
Official transcript documenting a minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework
Successful background check completed with ESPB
Complete online application for the substitute license with ESPB
The substitute license is $80 and is good for a period of 2 years. The substitute license allows a person to be a substitute teacher grades K-12 in all ND schools.

Parent Teacher Conferences are next Wednesday, October 21st. Conferences for the 7th-12th grade parents will look a little different this year. JH & HS Teachers will be set up at tables in the gymnasium from 3:30-7:00 pm for "open gym" conferences. If you would prefer an in-classroom or virtual conference you can sign up for those 15 minute meetings between 7:15-9:15 pm using this link:
