
Tuesday, September 14th, is the first day of Bookmobile. Students MUST wear a mask on the bookmobile. Please send a mask with your child that can stay at school for future use.


On Friday the 8th graders learned about soils, range land, wetland vertebrates, water sheds, reptiles, trees and other wetland plants (including nature’s best toilet paper) at the 2021 EcoEd program at Beaver Lake Park. Other than a few pesky mosquitoes, it was a beautiful day!

Homecoming Dress Up Days!


The elementary students will be observing National Anthem day on Sept 14th by singing the Star Spangled Banner by the flagpole at 2:30 p.m.

Team building activities with Specialist Justin Thoet from the Army National Guard.





Carnival plans are in full swing. We will be having a cake walk! We are looking for 15-20 cakes or desserts for the game. Please contact Mrs. Hatlewick to donate. Carnival is October 15.

Today in kindergarten we learned that science takes trial and error and how to follow the 5 steps of the design process used by engineers. We had to build a tower to hold a book. we persevered and every had a tower that held their book at the end of class!



Community Development class is looking for people to donate meat, buns, and bars for our Carnival to support the Gackle Park Board project.

Community Development Class is sponsoring a Carnival as a fundraiser for the Gackle Park Board. The Carnival will be October 15, 2021 from 5 - 8 pm Carnival games, BBQ Meal Deal, and Bingo. Plan to join the class to support the Park Board in raising money for their improvement project.

Josten’s rep was here to visit with the seniors about graduation prep. Seniors be sure to have your orders back to the school by September 9th.

Jostens rep was here to visit with our Sophomores about class rings. Packets went home and are due September 9, 2021.
