Congratulations to Karly R on her Honorable Mention for the Music K8 cover contest!

For the 1/2nd grade music students music math worksheets, remember the whole note (circle note) is worth 4 beats. Everytime you add something you cut the value in half. So you add in the following order: stem, color in note-head, flag. (4, 2, 1, 1/2)

Elementary parents. There was a glitch with our AR program. It was causing the goals to be set as 3rd quarter and not 4th. The glitch is fixed and all goals are set correctly!! A little note to our students. We miss you tremendously!! Please be safe and stay healthy! Hopefully we will see you all soon! ❤️ The Elementary Teachers

To all my 5th and 6th grade students— I miss you all like crazy!!!! I hope you are all safe and healthy. I hope to see you all sooner than later. Be the best version of yourself every single day. Help your folks out and know there is someone out there missing you like crazy!!!!!! Your teacher- Mrs. Buckeye

Phase 1 of our Distance Learning Program involves distributing learning packets to each of our students. We have also cleaned out student lockers and desks to deep clean. Parents are asked to stop at the WEST DOOR of the school on Monday, March 23rd between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM to pick up their family’s packets and belongings. Since the building is closed to the public, please ring the bell to let us know you are at the door and someone will meet you there with everything your students will need. If your child is borrowing a device from the school, you will be asked to sign a device release at that time.

Gackle Streeter FFA members, parents and alumni We will be postponing the banquet indefinitely. Once we have some idea of timelines we can revisit it. Also I will make up an officer application packet for those interested. Email me if you are interested and I will mail it

Note to all the HS Choir and Band students, yes we have postponed the music trip to KC. Right now we are planning on rescheduling for next April. I will be sending out additional info in a letter in regards to the insurance and other issues.

Any families that have not taken our survey, please do so immediately. This is so we can help distribute services like internet and devices to our students that need them. Thank you! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5K6GGR5

Gackle-Streeter Public School will remain closed the week of March 23rd-27th. We will implement step 1 of our Distance Learning Program at that time. Further information will be given tomorrow regarding the program and materials pick up.

Ms. Ova, who is subbing for Mrs. Gross while she is home cuddling her adorable new baby girl, asked me to share this. This comes from the Facebook page Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens. “While the Cincinnati Zoo is closed and kids are home from school, let us help make your children’s hiatus from school fun and educational. Join us for a Home Safari Facebook Live each weekday at 3pm EST where we will highlight one of our amazing animals and include an activity you can do from home. Join us starting Monday, March 16 at 3pm EST for our first Home Safari- featuring Fiona!”

Some awesome non tech things you can do as well!! :)

Good morning to all my 5th and 6th grade students. Please stay healthy— keep washing those hands. Just a reminder you can log on to READ-THEORY, accelerated reading, prodigy, and so many more. As for our science projects we will push that date back a week for sure. You could do some more research on the science behind your topic. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call. You all should have my number in your DOT BINDER.
Be good helpers around the house and stay healthy. Hope to see you all next Monday.
