This morning Jeff and Samantha from the Dakota Heritage Bank came and visited with the juniors and seniors about insurance. Thank you for coming and talking to them.
Due to the snow day we will kickoff reading month tomorrow March 2nd. Tomorrow is also Book Character Dress Up Day!
District 6 games for today have been postponed until tomorrow, Thursday March 2nd. Game schedule will remain the same.
There will be NO SCHOOL TODAY, March 1st, 2023 at Gackle-Streeter. Stay safe & warm.
Kindergarten and Third grade had a blast checking out the animals! Thank you Miss Buckeye and FFA students for making it happen :)
School and buses will run TWO HOURS LATE TOMORROW, March 1st, 2023 at Gackle-Streeter.
No Breakfast will be served.
Buses will only run where safely possible.
Rural bus families, please be in touch with your bus driver in the morning regarding road conditions.
Due to the incoming inclement weather Gackle-Streeter will be dismissing students at 2:55 pm and buses will run at 3:00 pm TODAY, February 28th, 2023. There will be NO extracurricular activities or practices -including elementary wrestling, elementary volleyball, varsity basketball, and FFA- after school.
There will be NO Elementary girls volleyball practice tonight. Elementary wrestling will still have practice for those who can stay. Please call the school if you want your wrestler to ride the bus home instead of staying for practice.
Due to the pending inclement weather the District 6 Boys Basketball Tournament has been postponed until tomorrow, March 1st, 2023.
NGS will play Strasburg-Zeeland at approximately 5:30 pm.
SSG Evan M. Messer provided a presentation for the juniors this morning on the features and benefits of the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Check out our 5th and 6th grade band members performances from todays festival in Enderlin on our Gackle-Streeter Music Notes page on FB. They all did a great job, nerves and all. All of the judges were impressed with our talented kids.
Congratulations to these FFA members who competed in the Lisbon competition today. They did great!

Saturday, Feb 25th, the 5th and 6th grade band students will be traveling to Enderlin to attend the Young Musicians Festival. They have been working hard on their solo's and 6th grade band piece, and we wish them a great day of making music!
The class of 2026 will also sell Dakota Dirt Coffee along with the kuchen! Cost is $16 per item
